Welcome to London Spivs

London Spivs has no manifesto as such, that is to say, it is not purely a political blog. Rather, drawing its inspiration from a particular time and place, it will characterise its environment in as many forms as possible. The environment happens, at present, to be London. In London, we have the comic, the lurid and the downright insane sat right next door to each other. We have found an endless stream of human stories, some of which can be summed up in the mere glimpse of an image or in a poem, an artifact or a short story. The stories are as labyrinthine as the endless terraces which populate the periphery of the city and the alley ways within it. If you like, you may see this blog as a magnification from the perspective of those of us who are lucky (or unlucky) enough to live here and observe the beast in all its idiosyncratic ways.
